BEd Entrance Exam 2009 - 10

Latest Notification : The HNB Garhwal University has informed that those candidates who have not received their admit cards uptill now can collect it from their respective centres personally on 19th & 20th of February 2010 by providing a passport size photo and Rs 10 fees for the duplicate copy of the admit card. The students can also download the admit card form the Garhwal Uinversity website www.hnbgu.ac.in .

The BEd Entrance exam organised by HNB Garhwal University for admission in different BEd Colleges in Uttarakhand for the session 2009-10 is likely to be held on 21st of February 2010. The application forms would be available from 30th December 2009 at HNB Garhwal University Main Office Srinagar, University Dehradun Office Bindal Pul , BEd Colleges affiliated to Garhwal University and at different Post Offices in Uttarakhand. The form is available for Rs 415 and the minimum percentage required for general category students is 50 and for OBC/SC/ST students 45 from any recognised University. The last date of receiving the form is 20th January 2010 and the last date of  receiving forms through registered post and speed post is 25th January 2010.

Earlier News : According to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central Univesity Vice Chancellor Prof Shri Krishan Singh the BEd course offered by university for the year 2009-10 will not be zero. He says BEd entrance exam for the session 2009-10 will be conducted within two month in this period the entrance exam, exam results plus admission process all will be completed by the university. The Goverment  BEd Colleges in Uttarakhand whose session have already completed more than 180 days there BEd exams will starts from 16th November.

Prof Singh says in the press conference that university is very serious in organising the BEd entrance exam. Due to cancellation of recognition of many private BEd colleges by NCTE and colleges giving admission below cut off merit list leads to difficulty in organising the BEd Entrance exam for the session 2009-10. According to NCTE the private BEd colleges who do not have there own building there recogntion is implied to be cancelled.

Before organising the entrance exam all private BEd colleges will be examined by the university, on that basis only seats will be alloted to the colleges and after that forms will be given for entrance exam.The eight Government colleges whose session have completed more than 180 days there examination form filling last date would be 26th of october. The BPed session 2008-09 examinations will be conducted from 10th of November 2009.
