The college is situated 32 Kms. From Kotdwara on Meerut – Pauri Highway which is further well connected to Delhi on one side and sri Badri Nath Dham, Kedar Nath Dham Hemkunt Saheb and Auli skeeing and other snow games centre on the other. Lansdowne itself is a tourist place having picturesque beauty able to attract a number of tourists. The college, established in 1972, is running three streams Science, Arts and Commerce courses at under graduate level in fourteen subjects and P. G. classes in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, History, Hindi, Pol. Sc., Economics and Commerce. The fourth faculty of education preparing for B. Ed. Degree is likely to be started in the next session.
