P.N.G. GOVERNMENT P.G. COLLEGE was started in 1976 under the private management. In the same year it was provincialised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Now it is a leading institution located at the entrance of Kumaon and Garhwal hills. Now it is a multi faculty , co-education college finance by the Govt.
of Uttarakhand. It is affiliated to the Kumaon University, Nainital. This college caters to the need of Kumaun and Garhwal hills as well as terai- bhabar. The number of students is increasing year by year and at present the strength is 3450.
