Established in 1994, the Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research is a premier institution offering professional education in the field of Biomedical Science in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. Affiliated to the H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, the institute offers eleven curricular programmes under its three main divisions, namely the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Division of Life Sciences, and Division of Medical Sciences. All courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapists and the Uttaranchal Association of Physiotherapists. Apart from academics, the curriculum also gives enough room for extra curricular activities. The college publication society publishes the only physiotherapy magazine in the country.
