The Second Counselling for medical courses for different medical colleges in Uttarakhand on the basis of  Uttaranchal Pre Medical Test (UPMT 2009) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University is from 24th till 25th of August. The Government of Uttarakhand has constituted a separate Counselling Board for this purpose and only the govt medical seats will be allotted in this counselling . The counselling will be conducted at “Director General Medical Health & Family Welfare“.  107  Chander Nagar Dehradun Campus from 24th till 25th of August 2009.

The candidates are instructed to bring the following documents original with one attested photocopy at the counselling centre :
(1) 12th pass/equivalent certificate (as mentioned) and mark sheet.
(2) Photographs as provided in UPMT 2009 application form.
(3) Domicile Certificate.
(4) UPMT 2008 Admit Card in original.
(5) Marksheet UPMT – 2009 in original.
(6) 10th or equivalent pass certificate for date of Birth.
(7) Caste / Sub Category Certificate (If Candiate belong to category or Sub Category).
(8) Bank draft of Rs 2000/- in favour of Director General Medical Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Uttarakhand Dehradun. ( Only Draft other not Permissible ).
(9) The caste and domcile certificate issued by Competent Authority should be in prescribed format as given in information brochure of UPMT 2009.
(10) Authority Letter in Original if any ( Refer information brochure page -15 ) .

The candidate who want to participate in the counselling have to register themselves at the counselling centre between 9.00 A.M to 5:00 P.M on the date of counselling 24th of August 2009.

** The seats in Narayan Swami Dental College and Uttaranchal Dental College Majri Grant  will be allotted subject to the permission of MCI/DCI up to the time of counselling.
*** Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences jolly grant Dehradun seats will be subject to the decision of Hon”ble Supreme Court in the SLP No 11299 of 2008 state of Uttarakhand V/S The Himalayan Insitute of Medical Science and Others. Counselling for the seat of such Institute will held after favourable decision by Hon”ble Supreme Court upto the time of Counselling.
