The Counselling for admission in Technical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh on the basis entrance exam SEE-UPTU 2009 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) will starts from 26th 0f July till 3rd of September. Earlier the counselling was likely to be held from 10th of July till 17th August but due to petition in the High Court for the increase in the reservation of SC/ST quota the counselling gets postponed. The UPTU has arranged 12 counselling centres in all over Uttar Pradesh the details regarding these centres have been mentioned below.

The Candidates who want to participate in the counselling have to submit a Counselling fees in draft of Rs 500 /- at the counselling centre which is non refundable. Other than this all category candidates have to bring a security fees draft of Rs 5000 /- in favour of “Finance Officer U P Technical University, Lucknow” payable at the branch of bank where the candidate going to attend the counselling .
The Candidate who gets the admission letter and belong to General & OBC have to submit a draft of Rs 10,000 and and SC/ST candidates have to submit a draft of Rs 4000 in favour of ” U P Technical University, Lucknow” payable at the branch of bank where the candidate going to attend the counselling . The above fees will be deducted from the fees charged by the college the candidate get allotted through counselling.
The candidates who did not get any college through online counselling can take their seat not allotted proof and draft of Rs 5000 back from the counselling centre.
The candidates have to bring the following documents in original with one attested photocopy at the counselling centre :
(1) 12th pass/equivalent certificate mark sheet.
(2) 10th or equivalent pass certificate.
(3) 3 Passport size Photographs.
(4) AIEEE – 2009 Admit Card & Rank Card in original.
(5) Permanent Address proof, Character Certificate, Medical Certificate .
(6) Caste / Sub Category Certificate (If Candiate belong to category or Sub Category).
(7) Oath Paper for Gap between education if applicable.

sir i want to know that which is the best college can i get for b.tech(biotech) admission for first year. my rank in uptu 2010 is GN(10000),and SC(866).
