I spent three years at Waverley Convent from 1943 to 1946 – Those years were very special and I keep in touch with some other girls who were my friends in those years.

My tenure was when the Revd.Mother was an American nun by the name of Mother Xavier and some of the other nuns were Mother.St.Cyprien a FRench Canadian, Mother Rose, Mother Natalie and others – some of the teachers were Miss Moore, Miss Braganza, Miss Rundlett and others.
One of the Matrons I recall who was in charge of the Junior pupils at Belmont was a Mrs Langton and in 1946 my Mother who was Mrs.Eileen Smith assisted her in this capacity.
All these memories of Waverley are still clear in my mind after 64 years have elapsed. I wish the school many more wonderful years.
